About BAVPA
The mission of the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts Foundation (BAVPA Foundation) is to enhance and to enrich student learning opportunities by providing additional financial support to the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts High School (“Arts Academy”). Its singular goal is to facilitate the successful transition of Arts Academy students from high school to college. The BAVPA Foundation Board of Directors meets regularly to plan and to implement programs designed to realize this goal. BAVPA Foundation is a 501© 3 not-for-profit organization incorporated in February 2010 and it solicits contributions from the public, individuals, alumni and the business community to fund programs at the Arts Academy. These programs, while enriching student academic opportunities and expanding performance opportunities for artistically gifted students, are designed to give students better opportunities to pursue their music and art studies in college.
