About BAVPA
The mission of the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts Foundation (BAVPA Foundation) is to enhance and to enrich student learning opportunities by providing additional financial support for academic and extracurricular programs at Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts High School (“Arts Academy”). The BAVPA Foundation Board of Directors meets regularly to plan and to implement programs designed to financially support the activities of the Arts Academy. The board participates in numerous fundraising endeavors and accepts both individual and corporate contributions. BAVPA Foundation is a 501© 3 not-for-profit organization incorporated in February 2010. The foundation solicits contributions from the public, individuals, alumni and the business community to fund programs at the Arts Academy. These programs enrich student academic opportunities, expand performance opportunities for artistically gifted students and finance the cultural and social life of the Arts Academy's urban and culturally diverse student body.
